Co-Executive Producers, Elizabeth and Helene Kahn, present you with the opportunity to be a part of “Forever After: Voices of Descendants of the Holocaust from Around the World,” a documentary film that primarily gives Descendants and also Survivors a post Holocaust voice, speaking to the forever ongoing effects of the Holocaust that are handed down through the generations. Through the lens of Holocaust survivors and their families, the documentary explores issues such as passing down history to the next generations, coping with tragedy and consequential family dynamics, loss of identity and more. Families and individuals share their legacy to create awareness of the repercussions of genocide and war, to play a role in shaping a better future for all nations in collaboration with the world, and to work towards understanding, respect and peaceful coexistance.

Funding Needs

Forever After Project Inc. is seeking in total $500,000 (five hundred thousand dollars) sponsorship for the documentary. Ideally, we would like a single sponsor, however, smaller sums adding up to the total amount are deeply appreciated.

Use of Funds

Funds will be used to pay the production team, production and post-production equipment, travel expenses, stock footage requirements, and for any film finishing requirements including telecine and potential film transfer needs.

It is important to note that due to the compelling nature and relevance of the project, all key members and consultants are taking significant pay cuts to work on the project in order to insure that the large majority of the funding goes to the actual production of the film.

The Production has continued without significant funds raised to this point, despite doing so on a shoestring. However, once full funding is in place, a portion of it will be used to reimburse funds already utilized to pay for various expenses, and compensate crew for efforts done at fractions of agreed upon rates.

Production Status

Thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors to date, four segments out of a proposed ten have already been filmed in High Definition video. Segments were filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa and Calgary, Canada.

We have compiled several of the mesmerizing stories and experiences into a pilot which we believe demonstrates the uniqueness and importance of our project.
